In the frame of the design and development of AI-based models/algorithms, implementation and validation of data/signals processing solutions for EO space systems on-board/on-ground, as well as high performance computing resources and HW/SW platform (HPC) we are looking for an Artificial Intelligence and Computer Space Position Mission.
Contribute to the definition of requirements and architectures for data/signal processing for on board and on ground applications, through cutting-edge technologies (ML/AI) Contribute to the analysis of the field of ML/AI and HPC technologies for the development of highly reliable and accurate algorithms and computing platforms for diagnostics, prognostics and health management solutions, in response to demands for more affordable and reliable space systems.
Contribute to the design and development of AI-based models for spacecraft/payload data exploitation, with focus on EO space missions.
Contribute to the analysis, definition and building up of hardware/software platforms aiming at high performance computing (HPC) for space data.
Identify, analyze and design AI-based algorithms and computational models that could empower the overall observation and navigation domain products, especially for space operations and satellite guidance.
Contribute to the test campaigns planning and execution jointly with other Domains/CCs and external partners Contribute to the analysis of customer/user needs, focusing on innovative satellite technologies in space systems Analyse requirements and guidelines from space Agencies (ESA, ASI, etc.) for further strengthening the introduction of AI in space systems, contributing to technology development roadmaps and space Programmes Technical Skills, Qualifications and professional experience required.
Master Degree in Artificial Intelligence Engineering, Computer Science Engineering (or equivalent).
Bachelor Degree in Electronic, Computer or Computer Science Engineering (or equivalent) would be preferable.
Knowledge of data/signal processing and state-of-the-art algorithms, digital data processing systems, distributed algorithm and parallel processing platforms, Artificial Intelligence and computing solutions, data analytics models.
Knowledge of applicable standards in the discipline and in the AI/ML engineering community.
Advanced programming skills and capacity to learn new programming languages.
Experiences of data processing and exploitation workflows, AI/ML-based algorithms development, software platforms development are preferable.
Good computer science engineering background.
Good knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows); Ability to team working and problem solving.
