The Chief Housekeeper Assistant is in charge of.
The Oversee the cleanliness of Guest's Accommodation, Officer's and Staff Accommodation, all Public Areas, Main Laundry and Crew laundry and all crew corridors and crew service lifts.
Manage the organization and smooth running of collection and delivery of luggage services Conducts daily meeting with Housekeeping Utilities to discuss duties assigned, special cleaning task assigned by the Chief Housekeeper, any additional Public Area Set-Ups, Gangway Set-Ups / recovery time and Beach set-ups if necessary that are understood and completed in timely manner.
Supervise the Housekeeping Utilities and the Multi-Purpose Steward on the open deck set-ups of deck chairs / sunbaths and towels.
Assist with the Cost Controller during the loading of the Housekeeping merchandise, Uniforms, Linens/Towels and ECOLAB Chemicals Assure the good condition of all the equipments in all Housekeeping Areas.

Proper reporting of the maintenance & repairs in all areas of Housekeeping.
Ensure that the job has been done and follow-up if needed for the completion of the maintenance.
Assist with Chief Housekeeper to Organize on the job trainings so team members are adequately provided with current service standard and their performance are evaluated by completing the evaluation form on quarterly basis or as needed.
Assist with the Chief Housekeeper in cabin control.
Anticipate guest's requests.
Have a mind of Cost Control in all aspects of Housekeeping and the required budget for Consum- ables, Equipment, Uniforms and Chemicals per cruise must not exceed to the required amount by PONANT.
Supervise the Room Service during Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner Services Manage the distribution of uniforms to the officers and crews as per Uniform Chart implemented by PONANT.
Coordinate with Chief Housekeeper for ordering and destocking of uniforms.
Inventory, storage and distribution of ECOLAB Chemicals, Consumables and Linens / Towels.
Co- ordinate with Chief Housekeeper for placing the order with the proper calculation until the next delivery date.
Comply with the Safety, Sanitation, Environmental, USPH Standards and ISM company policies and procedures.
To ensure that the Sanitation in Public Areas are properly done as per schedule prepared by the Chief Housekeeper.
Report to Chief Housekeeper any guests remarks.
Teamwork and communication with other De- partment Heads with regards to guest services, guest's comments and guest's remarks for the improvement of the hotel services.
Assist for the checking of the staterooms, public areas, Officer's accommodation and main laundry to guaranteed the PONANT Standard Company Set Up is implemented.
