The Associate Director, Med Info Established Product Content & Strategy leads the medical writing vendor to develop and maintain scientific responses for established products.
Partners closely with Established Products MAF partners for issue resolution, product changes and events.
Leverages knowledge and expertise to provide medical guidance for promotional materials and develop scientific training.
Collaborates with fellow AD, Med Info Established Products to develop consistent processes and communication.
Contributes to Medical Information Content Strategy and Innovation projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities.
Lead the medical writing vendor to develop and maintain scientific responses – Leads the enhancement of active medical information scientific responses to optimize communication clarity and maintenance.
Develops medical information standard replies and innovative content in support of customer needs.
Provides scientific consultation on escalation inquiries.
Partner with Established Products MAF–Collaborates to ensure firm understanding of product events and issues within established products.
Ensure any evolving information is incorporated into resources to allow for effective management of Medical Information inquiries.
Leverage knowledge and medical information expertise in promotional material review– Utilizes product and disease state knowledge to provide medical guidance for promotional material review to ensure accurate and balanced content is created for customers Develop scientific training materials – Develops and maintains departmental training for established products to ensure all individuals are prepared to expertly handle medical information inquiries.
Partner with label working group to understand the continuous evolution of product labels Lead and contribute to Medical Information Content Strategy and Innovation projects and initiatives Qualifications Education.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy is required.
A PharmD degree is highly preferred.
Experience and Skills.
Required.
A minimum of 4-6 years of experience within a Medical Information function Demonstrated ability to conduct literature analysis and develop responses to scientific inquiries from healthcare professionals and/or consumers Strong knowledge of Medical Information process, content management systems and technologies for scientific content Experience working with partners in Medical Affairs Ability to work in the Titusville, NJ office 3 days a week and travel up to 10% for conference attendance and company meetings Demonstrated success in innovation and creativity to cultivate new ideas and leverage solution to exceed customer needs.
Project management/team leadership experience Expertise working in a matrix environment with cross functional and cross- regional teams.
Customer Focus – drives excellent customer service and exhibits understanding of healthcare landscape.

Experience with promotional material review Therapeutic area experience in cardiovascular, neuroscience, infectious disease, or oncology The anticipated base pay range for this position is $ to $.  The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.
Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus.
The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
