BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - MAINLAND CHINA MARKET

The Business Development Manager’s role is a key sales role within growing and dynamic vocational colleges Canadian College of Technology and Business (CCTB) and Toronto School of Management (TSoM) with tremendous growth opportunity. This role has two main objectives: developing effective recruitment pipelines through new and existing agent partnerships in China; developing productive recruitment projects with colleges and schools in China through progression arrangements as well as non-credit transfer programmes such as study abroad semester. Duties and Responsibilities: · Communicate, discover, and follow up on all client/agent/institution interaction for new business opportunities · Maintain organization on all agent/institution profiles with up-to-date associated student data · Perform constant active agent/institution management · Understand agents/institution/students’ needs while presenting CCTB/TSoM programs as solutions to their needs · Maintain active knowledge of industry related changes/initiatives and share the knowledge with the Team as well as agencies/partner institutions · Consistent achievement of targets/goals · Take each opportunity to learn more about existing and new agency/partner institution, as well as students · Engage in the full recruitment cycle from initial contact to agency/partner onboarding, training, counselling, follow up, deposit conversion, enrolment to develop a book of business · Performs other related duties as assigned by management · Educated to diploma level or equivalent · Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese · Experienced in promoting Canadian vocational colleges in China market · Possess a dedication to sales, client/agent development, and overall revenue growth · Effective communication skills with team members and agencies/institution/students · Ability to follow instructions and follow up on assigned tasks · Ability to maintain a positive attitude under a stressful environment · Excellent time management skills · Strong problem-solving skills · Be able to work on flexible hours · Self-disciplined and self-motivated Please note this position is only available on our Consultancy agreement.
