COST ACCOUNTING MANAGER

MMI is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to join our rapidly growing, talented team.
Role and main responsibilities.
Manages the financial close for EMEA and Italy operations; general ledger, income statement, balance sheet and cash flow accuracy.
Supports operations leadership with working capital metrics, inventory accounting and other technical accounting support.
Manage 3rd party (vendors) audit, tax and accounting support.
Manage CapEx, lease, and intangible accounting (gestione CAPEX and 'cotabilita industriale') Manage 1-2 direct reports and staff.
All cost accounting and cost of sales analysis.
Intercompany reconciliation and compliance.
Ensure adherence to accounting policy and company procedures.
Ensure adherence to month-end close and tax deadlines.
Seeks business partner feedback and drives improvements to the consolidation and reporting systems.
Continually identifies opportunities to streamline and automate processes.
Prepare audit, tax and other regulatory reporting schedules, requests and support compliance by satisfying all regional requests timely and accurately.
Reports directly to the Global Corporate Controller and helps to hire, retain and develop resources and tools to align with leadership goals and objectives.
Required experience.
3-5 years primary experience with IFRS/U.

GAAP with a public company Knowledge of NetSuite ERP or other advanced ERP (JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle) University level Accounting, Economics, or equivalent degree 3-5 years’ accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing or start-up environment Minimum 2 years cost accounting experience Fluent written and spoken English Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in line with leadership objectives.
Excellent cross-functional communication skills in English written and spoken.
Demonstrates leadership skills such as open communication, reliability, time management, delegation and accountability.
Preferred CPA or equivalent 2-3 years global audit experience Experience working in a global team across time zones and cultures.
Italian proficiency Ability to travel %   About MMI MMI is dedicated to improving reconstructive options for surgeons and patients and has developed the first teleoperated robotic platform for open microsurgery.
It offers the surgeon motion scaling and tremor elimination and aims to facilitate existing procedures as well as enable new ones in the domain of microsurgery, from post-oncological and trauma reconstructions to ophthalmology, organ transplantation and pediatric surgery.
