Join us as a Data Scientist - Machine Learning and Marketing Technology What you will be doing We are looking for an exceptionally smart and motivated Data Scientist, with strong expertise in Machine Learning methods and technologies, who is comfortable working in an agile but architecture-led environment.
You will be responsible for analyzing large and complex datasets and conceiving predictive models and algorithms that will be used to optimize the marketing and customer acquisition strategies in Satispay.
This role is based at our headquarters in Milan, where - along with all the key people - as an active member of Satispay, you will be a core member of the Tech & Product Team, helping fuel the growth of the Satispay Group (Italy, Luxembourg, France, and soon other countries) in activities such as.
Identify opportunities for leveraging machine learning to enhance our offerings and processes Analyze large and complex data sets to uncover hidden patterns and insights Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems, forecast customer behavior, improve our ability to allocate efficiently marketing resources, and drive growth Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and evaluate the impact of new features Collaborate with Satispay cross-functional teams to build a best-in-class data infrastructure and perform analysis on large sets of data to extract impactful insights on user behavior that will help drive product and design decisions Continuously monitor and optimize machine learning models for accuracy and performance Communicate findings and insights clearly and concisely to stakeholders across Satispay Stay up to date with the latest developments and best practices in machine learning and data science What we need We’re looking to attract talented professionals who share our passion for Satispay’s opportunity, the belief that people's experience builds healthy enduring companies and positively impacts people’s lives.

A master-level degree or equivalent experience in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics, or another quantitative subject area (PhD is a plus) A thorough understanding of statistical modeling, and 3+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on Machine Learning and Deep Learning Proficiency with causal inference techniques Strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow  Ability to contribute to the design of data engineering pipelines to feed and monitor Machine Learning applications Problem-solving skills, to grasp and tackle loosely defined problems, and come up with relevant answers and impactful insights Strong communication and collaboration skills, which make you comfortable working with multiple stakeholders Fluency in English, both written and spoken Project experience applying predictive modeling to marketing problems, such as Marketing and Media Mix Modeling   is a strong plus Experience in the Fintech industry is a plus Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) is a plus You are.
