Automation.
Develop and maintain automation processes for software deployment, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management.
(Azure DevOps Pipelines) CI/CD Implementation.
Design, build, and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle, ensuring rapid, tested and reliable releases.
(Azure DevOps Pipelines, SonarQube) Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Manage and evolve infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components.
(Terraform) Monitoring and Logging.
Configure and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address system issues.
Containerization.
Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate container deployments.
(Kubernetes, Rancher, K9S, Kustomize, Helm Charts,...).
Collaboration.
Foster collaboration and communication between development and operations teams to enhance and optimize software development and deployment processes.
Security Best Practices.
Implement and maintain security best practices, including access control, vulnerability management, and compliance checks, to ensure the security of systems and data.
Performance Optimization.
Continuously monitor system performance and make improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and resource utilization.
Disaster Recovery and Backup.
Establish and test disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure data and system integrity, particularly in critical scenarios.
Documentation.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on configurations, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing, onboarding, and compliance.
| What do we expect from you? M.
Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Skills.
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.
., Python, Bash, PowerShell), knowledge of configuration management tools, and experience with various DevOps tools and platforms.
Cloud Computing.
Familiarity with Azure cloud platform, or others (AWS, Google Cloud).
Containerization.
Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
CI/CD.
Understanding of CI/CD principles and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools for building, testing and deploying software.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Proficiency in implementing IaC using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar.
Monitoring and Logging.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools and best practices for system performance and issue detection.
Security.
Awareness of security best practices and the ability to implement security measures in DevOps processes.
Collaboration.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and facilitate project success.
Problem-Solving.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address technical issues quickly and efficiently.
Certifications.
(nice to have) Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications.
Good command of Italian and English language.
Availability to travel and relocate for medium to long periods is a plus.
