Mercer Italy is looking for candidates passionate about making a difference in the careers of thousands of people to join through an exciting and fruitful internship in the Diversity Equity and Inclusion team based in Milan.
We help our clients accelerate their DEI journeys through a multifaceted, evidence-based approach that incorporates opportunity, experience, pay, and health and financial well-being interventions and outcomes.
What can you expect? As a Mercer Intern you will support the Diversity Equity and Inclusion team in all activities related to the to advance equitable career, health and financial wellness outcomes in the workforce.
You will support the Italian DEI team in all activities from research, to organize logistics and activities, to analyse data and create reports.
We will count on you to.
Perform quali-quantitative data analysis with guidance and instruction; Research, interpret and benchmark external data and information; Balance multiple project schedules to meet deadlines; Assist in drafting reports for clients with guidance and direction (both in Italian and English); Learn and adapt Mercer standard tools and methodologies; Take part in designing new and innovative solutions in DEI area; Solicit feedback on work performed and applies insights to future assignments; Proactively seek out opportunities to further develop skills and capabilities with a possibility to take part in projects of other Talent Strategy area; Provide career equity through more accessible talent opportunities and outcomes, utilizing effective and bias-free programs and policies; Ensure that everyone has a similarly positive workplace experience by shaping the culture and partnering with others to upskill leaders and managers.
What you need to have? University master’s degree in economics, social statistic or data science, management engineering, psychology, social, political and organizational sciences, international relations or similar; Strong passion for People sustainability and inclusion; Strong relational and communication skills; Strong data analysis skills to support the design and implementation of DEI projects; Excellent use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point); Fluency in both Italian and English languages.
