Position Overview.
Our client is currently seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Milan.
As an integral member of our solar development projects, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems for solar energy generation.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge renewable energy projects and contribute to a more sustainable future.
Responsibilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design electrical systems for solar energy projects, including PV systems, inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
Conduct detailed electrical engineering analysis, simulations, and feasibility studies to optimize system performance and efficiency.
Develop electrical schematics, layouts, and specifications in accordance with industry standards and project requirements.
Coordinate with external stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
Perform site evaluations and assessments to identify potential electrical challenges and propose innovative solutions.
Support project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and procurement of electrical equipment and materials.
Provide technical expertise and support during project construction, commissioning, and testing phases.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in solar energy and electrical engineering.
Qualifications.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on renewable energy projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of electrical system design, power distribution, and grid integration principles.
Proficiency in electrical engineering software tools (e.
., AutoCAD, PVSyst, ETAP) and simulation techniques.
Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards (e.
., NEC, IEC, IEEE) governing solar energy systems.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Fluency in Italian; proficiency in English is a plus.
