ENGINEER (M/F/D) CONCRETE TOWER & FOUNDATIONS

We are looking for an experienced and highly qualified Civil Engineer (m/f/d) for the design and calculation of towers and foundations of wind turbines in reinforced and prestressed concrete construction.
They play an important role in the design, analysis and optimisation of concrete structures to ensure their safety, reliability and efficiency.
Your in-depth technical knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams will contribute to the success of our team.
Your Tasks Development of concrete and hybrid towers for wind turbines independently and in cooperation with suppliers Design and calculation of concrete structures in wind turbines using the finite element method (FEM) to ensure the structural integrity of the turbines under different wind conditions Assessment and processing of damage to concrete structures, preparation of fault cause analyses and the development of repair measures Responsible support for the approval of novel and optimized construction products and construction methods at the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt)   Your Profile Completed diploma, master's degree or doctorate in civil engineering with a focus on steel and prestressed concrete construction Very good knowledge and experience in the design and calculation of fatigue-stressed steel and prestressed concrete structures; Ideally, experience with towers and foundations of wind turbines Experience in the application of powerful commercial FEM software such as ANSYS or Abaqus for the calculation of concrete structures Ideally very good knowledge of the set of standards that apply in particular to the German market In-depth experience with damage assessment of concrete structures Ability to work independently, responsibly and systematically Assertive and confident demeanor, strong team spirit Very good English skills spoken and written, knowledge of German and/or Spanish is an advantage       Nordex adheres to a policy of equal employment opportunity.
