Responsibilities Weatherford have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Procurement Supervisor that will cover our European GeoZone and can be based in the any of the following locations, Ortana (Italy), Ploiesti (Romania), Langenhagen or Peine (Germany), Den Helder (The Netherlands).
The Procurement Supervisor will support and monitor procurement activities of the organization and ensure the Goods and Services are obtained from specified suppliers that meet demand requirements, business, and quality specifications.
In addition, you will negotiate with suppliers and ensure Goods and Services are delivered upon agreed terms and conditions, seeking maximum value for the company including agreed time, quality, and cost.
OPERATIONS Monitors and ensures purchase orders are created accurately, compliantly, meeting customer need date and Goods receipt is performed within allotted time frame of goods receipt or service deliver.
Lead a Team of Procurement Specialists in the regions by reviewing PO Management, sourcing strategy in the regions and overall performance of Procure to Pay processes.
Reviews the purchase requisitions raised by Operations and/or Manufacturing branches and partner with them to ensure it meets the procurement policy, get executed on compliance, quality, on time and at the budgeted cost.
Sources requested part/service to required specifications per guidelines Requests quotes from suppliers on items needed for branch operations to required specifications and communicates delivery need.
Engages in negotiations with suppliers, aimed at achieving best possible pricing for Weatherford.
Utilizes competitive bidding competencies, targeting the lowest initial price received and seek to obtain pricing below that benchmark.
Performs tasks relative to Purchase Order management.
Collaborate with GZ Sourcing lead on critical tenders across Europe Monitor that all Contracts and Savings are submitted correctly and on time Acts as a liaison between the supplier and company Accounts Payable to resolve issues affecting timely payment, including but not limited to.
PO Receipt, Invoice disputes, Supplier requirements, Payment term resolution, etc.
Drives and Facilitates or assist in supplier contract negotiations.
Participates in supplier review process and develop relationships with identified key strategic suppliers.
Supports supplier base rationalization by working closely with Sourcing and Category Management.
Reports supplier non-conformances and follow-up until resolved.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT LEAD FOR THE GEOZONE SUPPLY CHAIN Lead and deploy Continuous improvement within the company through Kaizen events, Lean initiatives, and Continuous improvement roadmap Drive the roadmap execution in the supply chain and with support functions/internal customer to deliver the productivity and cost saving for the company Developing and measuring standards for business process and identifying improvement opportunities in the supply chain Managing the implementation of improvement initiatives across Countries Collaborating with internal and external partners in order to make sustainable improvements along the entire supply chain Monitoring and reporting on the progress of projects Managing changes as these occur during the delivery of business improvement projects Recommending and developing improvements Ensuring that progress is maintained on an ongoing basis Training, mentoring and development of team members on new processes Communicating ideas and opinions to other members of management.

Min 2 years of experience on supervisory/leading roles Previous experience of working with Purchasing Contracts and Agreements.
Oil and Gas industry experience is preferrable Solid understanding of Procurement processes, Industry Standards and Supplier Management.
Proficient in MS Office suite, advanced Excel skills, experienced in using ERP systems Excellent customer service skills English proficiency
