EXTERNAL PRODUCTION MANAGER

POSITION.
External Production Manager   PERMANENT CONTRACT / ITALY   CELINE is a fast-growing French and Leather-Goods Couture House that belongs to LVMH group driven by a new holistic and creative project led by Hedi Slimane, its Artistic, Creative and Image Director.

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT As External Production Manager, and part of the External Production Department, and you will be responsible mainly of 3 areas.
execution of the Industrial Projects (building realization/refurbish) of the core vendors with respect of time and costs improvement of the performance, organization and processes of the manufacturers assigned, deliveries on time of the expected products for all the vendors, You’ll manage directly a team of 3 Short term planners and you will directly report to the External Production Director.
This experience will enable you to collaborate with the entrepreneurs and owner of our external manufacturers but also with all the internal functions (planning, procurement, industrialization, quality, warehouse, finance departments).
You will have the opportunity to build up knowledge on business processes on luxurious goods working in increasingly challenging and international environment and on engaging projects.
YOUR IMPACT Ensure the expansion and evolution of some external manufacturers, leading the project of business growth of our main partners, supporting the owners of external companies in terms of.
buildings realization, monitoring timing and costs set-up right organizations, identifying and sharing with the owner the key roles to be hired design the more appropriate production processes, flows and layout Ensure productivity, quality, efficiency through a timely follow up of the main KPI, involving internal business functions to support the activities with our external suppliers.
Definition, discussion, and negotiation of the production costs of each item with suppliers, ensuring the achievement of budget targets.
Participate to the S&OP process with Supply Chain and implement the adjustment of production capacity through the implementation of headcount growth/decrease plans.
Ensure the OTIF of the deliveries for all the production sites, through the follow-up on the field leading the Short Term Planners Implement recovery plans in case of failure to reach the target; propose extraordinary interventions or the support of technical bodies in case of problems etc.
Ensure compliance with social compliance standards and production standards through audits of production processes.
Drive the change to reach the target on HSE, CSR, Ergonomics.
Lead every six months at the business reviews of the assigned manufacturers, supervising performance indicators and assigning appropriate improvement targets, stimulating the external suppliers to effectively pursue the objectives.
Profile KEYS FOR SUCCESS Education.
Master’s degree in Economy or Engineering or equivalent experience in Industrial Companies   Experience.
Position requires minimum 8-10 years of experience in Production and /or Planning area Experience in luxury/fashion business a plus   Competencies.
Strong competences in Project Management Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional environment Deep knowledge of Production, efficiency, quality and productivity KPI’s Cooperative with good teamwork and solid communication skills Good capabilities on Problem Solving Advanced user of IT tools (Excel and management systems) Willingness to frequent daily trips   Languages.
