Limerick, Ireland Job summary Supervises the daily operations of facilities department activities such as construction, maintenance of equipment, machinery and critical systems.
Assists in developing overall property oversight.
At this level the role has increased responsibilities including, but not limited to, additional skills, multiple lines/products, diverse teams, etc.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities Assists with the estimation of design costs and for the selection of contractors / vendors.
Prioritizes and monitors progress on work being performed, including planned and preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, shutdowns and overhauls.
Maintains all Facility Departmental files which are not limited to.
documenting design drawings and specifications, budget and maintenance documentation.
Implements and complies with company safety practices, policies and procedures.
Recognizes and rewards safe behavior.
Ensures that the staff have necessary guidance and tolls for effective job performance.
Qualifications Qualification Essential.
Degree level qualified in Engineering or Science.
Desirable.
