For our office in Verona we are currently looking for a Strategy and Innovation Consultant with prior experience in projects defining strategy or resolving innovation challenges as well as experience in the food sector and working with startups.
In this role you will assist corporate clients in their process of transforming their businesses through disruptive innovation and strategic alliances with global agrifoodtech startups.
Tasks Working with corporate clients to identify business challenges that can be solved through innovation.
Set up and conduct the process of developing the innovation strategy and execution plan tailored to the clients challenges with a clear focus on growth.
In collaboration with the global team launching innovation capture programs.
venture client scouting challenge incubator accelerators etc.
In collaboration with the global scouting team active participation in the selection of the best startups for the projects.
prospect interviews matchmaking evaluation reports demoday and pilots or PoCs definition Definition of the business cases supporting collaborations between startups and corporations.
Manage relationships with the clients and business development.
Requirements At least 3 years of previous experience in food innovation working with startups and corporations within the Agrifood ecosystem management or strategic consultancy with Indepth knowledge of the agrifood sector including the value chain market dynamics business models key players etc.
Advanced understanding of entrepreneurship and innovation approaches including business model innovation design thinking lean startup and agile methodologies.
Eager to make a positive impact on society and the food system.
Curiosity learning and discovery are natural traits.
Team player quick learner highly motivated and deadline oriented.
Outstanding interpersonal verbal and written communication abilities.
Good negotiation skills.
C1 Level of both Italian and English spoken and written.
Spanish speaker is a plus.
