Gi Group as a partner of MSC PROCUREMENT & LOGISTICS is looking for a FREIGHT FORWARDER The candidate we are searching for is going to manage the necessary customs, transport and insurance documentation.
Specifically, the job holder will carry out the following activities.
- Analyzes the criticalities of loading ports (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities) - Checks and prepares documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements in compliance with other countries regulations and fiscal regimes - Maintains current knowledge of relevant legislation, political situations and other factors that could affect the movement of freight - Manages the relationship with carriers and warehouses - Manages the international customs matters - Manages the relationship with the other departments and the local agencies to verify the goods’ importability - Sources locally trucks, warehouses, suppliers, etc.
- Works on special projects.
The ideal applicant meets these requirements.
- Previous working experience in the role in international transportation, logistics and supply chain industries - Fluent English, any additional language is an advantage - MS Office, knowledge of logistics software and platform is an advantage - Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines - Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize and follow-up - Availability to travel.
We offer a permanent contract with the company Full time, Monday to Friday Workplace.
