GENERAL LEDGER & CONTROLLING Responsibilities.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, managing the consolidation process of financial statements for the group legal entities Manage GL activities on a daily and monthly basis Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights Cooperate on the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts.
Partner with cross-functional teams (supply chain, sales, marketing, operations) to track performance against budget.
Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial controls and procedures.
Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements in applicable jurisdictions.
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks as needed, as well as oversee general administrative tasks Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and transparency as a team member The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledges and experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5–8 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in apparel, consumer goods, or DTC brands.
Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory control, and financial planning in a product-based business.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.
., NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and financial modeling tools (Excel, Power BI).
Good knowledge of English and Italian Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
