In Electrification Business \u Smart Power Division, we are looking for a Global Application Specialist to develop applications in the area of data center and critical power.
In this role you will design, develop, and validate applications and solutions in above areas leveraging on a customer-in approach in agile context.

Your responsibilities Development of applications, included training, value proposition, communication material.
Help customers by identifying the best solutions for their project and follow Customer-In process to capture the customers\u feedback.
Ensure adequate customer journey (i.
., application configurator) is in place for the respective application.
Support test and validation of applications, and digital marketing campaigns related to applications.
Define ABB and competitive landscape, monitor market trends in the above applications and recommends adjustments for the long and mid-term strategy.
Provide feedback on new development needs.
Participate to national/international standardization committee.

Your background Bachelor\us degree in engineering, preferably electric engineering.
Experience in electrical systems, ability to read, understand and design electrical diagrams; experience with electrical distribution, critical power systems, protection and switching devices, metering and monitoring devices and systems, continuous power in data center area.
Proficiency in written and spoken English; proficiency in second language is a plus.
Availability for business travel (approx.
20%).
Technical understanding and willingness to learn and continuously acquire new competences.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, market knowledge, leadership skills, social skills complete the profile.
Knowledge of EN, Uptime Institute Tier design, ANSI/TIA-942-A ratings, ANSI/BICSI 002 levels, or similar electrical distribution design requirements is considered as well as design software skills (i.
.
Etap, SKM, EasyPower, AutoCAD or similar are considered a plus.
Agile mindset and preferable experience in an agile working context.
