GLOBAL MARKETING MANAGER

HIEC is looking to hire an ambitious senior marketing professional looking to make an impact with a focus on storytelling, content creation and campaign management. Working closely with the Global Partner group, the Global Marketing Manager will be responsible for all marketing and communications activities across the global business including outbound-marketing, PR, social, communications (internal and external), and events. The primary focus of this role is both increase HIEC’s brand exposure and market awareness, and to ensure the right messages are reaching the right people in the right way. This is a hugely important role which will drastically change the speed and effectiveness of HIEC’s ability to engage with existing and future clients, candidates, wider industry contacts and beyond. Working closely with the Global Partner group, responsibilities would include: · Ensure HIEC’s content strategy is aligned with the overall marketing objectives. · Plan, execute and optimise integrated marketing campaigns across all the Global Practice areas. · Advise and work with the entire HIEC business on appropriate communication strategies across various digital channels. · Create new content and thought leadership appropriate for a variety of sectors (e.g., Retail & Consumer, Private Equity, Software etc.) and topics (e.g., AI, sustainability, diversity & inclusion, etc.) from videos, social media content and new formats (e.g. blogs and podcasts). · Own HIEC’s engagement with the pool(s) of Chairs / CEOs / Investors / HRDs etc. – maintain a personally tailored programme of engagement. · Own the marketing budget – you will be the focal point for writers, agencies, journalists, and events etc. · Lead HIEC’s CRM platform and CRM communications strategy, and be the go-to person for data. · Ensure the right in-bound news is hitting the right people. Desired Skills and Experience · 5+ years’ experience in highly focused messaging/story-telling marketing roles, likely in B2B environments (executive search experience is not required). · Experience of working on multiple projects with competing deadlines. · Highly collaborative, ideally experience of working in an international business with multiple cultures. · Deadline driven – used to working in a fast-paced environment. · Able to stand their ground – not afraid to challenge senior stakeholders as the marketing expert. · Excellent communication, inter-personal and writing skills. · Commercially minded – create a marketing capability that is in part aimed at increasing revenue through interest and leads. · Experience dealing with external partners such as agencies, ghost-writers, and journalists – able to credibly represent HIEC. · Creative and proactive – will bring new ideas and show initiative. · Likely to have a background/degree in marketing, writing or related subjects.
