INSURANCE SPECIALIST

Reporting to the General Accounting, Treasury, Insurance & Reporting Manager, the profile will be based in Rome HQ.
Main Responsibilities Policy Oversight.
Supervise a comprehensive range of insurance policies, including Group (LVMH) and Local Policies such as Property Damages/Business Interruption – All Risks; Cargo Marine; E-commerce; Credit Insurance; General Liability; Contractor All Risk (C.
.
.); Inherent Defects Insurance (I.
.
./Assurance Dommages - Ouvrage); Fine Art; Special Events, Special Guests, Event Cancellation; Travel Policy.
Financial Management.
Ensuring the proper handling of premium and related payment processes, contributing to cost-effective coverage and implementation of one-off covers.
Budgeting & Forecasting.
Reviewing budgets and monthly accruals to optimize financial planning.
Risk Evaluation.
Performing comprehensive assessments and adjustments of coverage to align with business needs and regulatory standards.
Claims Management.
Administer declarations of claims and meticulously verified indemnification processes, expediting the resolution of claims.
Advisory Role.
Deliver expert insurance counsel to all departments and Fendi entities globally, ensuring risk mitigation and compliance.
Procedures & Guidelines.
Monitoring and implementing WW procedures for each insurance Program.
Stakeholder Relations.
Nurture and maintain strong relationships with international and local brokers.
Interdepartmental Collaboration.
Facilitate coordination among Fendi entities on insurance matters.
Working with LVMH's Risk & Insurance team to synchronize insurance strategies with the Group's risk management objectives.
Profile Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the same position with an excellent knowledge of the insurance market.
Highly proficient in SAP or other ERP, Reporting and Data analysis tools (e.
.
SAP analytics, Business Objects, or similar tools).
Master skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; PowerBI skills are a plus.
Fluency in English is required, French is a plus.
Passionate & knowledgeable of retail, fashion, and luxury sector.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
