Saipem is looking for an intern to join the Investor Relations and Rating Management department within the Chief Financial Officer team.
The Investor Relations and Rating Management function is a strategic one within the organisation, tasked with connecting Saipem’s top management with the global financial markets (both on the equity and debt side).
The ultimate objective of the Investor Relations and Rating Management function is to ensure that Saipem’s strategy and operational activities are well understood by the financial markets and that Saipem’s securities (both equity and debt) are fairly priced.
This is achieved through a constant dialogue with financial markets and through a best-in-class financial disclosure.
The intern will have the opportunity to be exposed to top management (Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Head of Finance, Head of Investor Relations and Rating Management, Strategy and M&A, and other various executives) as well as to be directly exposed to financial analysts (sell-side), institutional investors (both domestic and international) and rating agencies.
The intern will support the Investor Relations and Rating Management team in the following activities, among others.
· Continuous interaction within the Chief Financial Officer function (planning and control, finance, accounting, tax, capital markets, strategy and M&A, etc) and the various business divisions of Saipem (asset based services, drilling offshore, energy carriers, etc.) · Preparation and regular update of investor presentations · Preparation of internal documentation for top management (Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer) · Analysis on the Company’s performance in the financial markets, including the evolution of the share / debt / convertible bond prices, sell-side analyst estimates (consensus) and Saipem’s peer performance tracking · Organization and logistics of investor days, technology days, capital market events, roadshows and investor conferences · Monitor and report on peer quarterly results, sell-side research and daily news-flow · Monitor and report on shareholder ownership · Attendance to calls with institutional investors, sell-side analysts and rating agencies · Selective attendance to equity and debt conferences · Manage the content of the Group’s Investor Relations website Requirements.
· Excellent academic path · Degree in economics / business administration is required · Proficiency in English, both written and oral · Strong communication and relational skills · Outstanding Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel and Powerpoint) · Knowledge and interest in the financial markets and in the energy sector Gi Group S.
