The Company has been active since the 1970s under the chairmanship of Francesco Casoli. Over 3000 employees play their part in helping us produce about 17 million items a year between hoods and electric motors. Our production platform centres around five countries including Italy, Poland, Mexico, India and China and makes us the outright leaders in the world in the sector of hoods and among the leaders in Europe in the design, production and distribution of electric motors for hoods and heating system boilers. We are currently in the process of recruiting a candidate to cover a position of Junior Laboratory Engineer / metrology & calibration (Internship). THE IMPACT: S/He carries out the verification and calibration process on the instrumentation used in the laboratory to guarantee the highest possible degree of accuracy MAIN ACTIVITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: Supervise instrumentation’s maintenance for the correct execution of the tests; Define set up, equipment and everything necessary for the introduction of new tests; Support the measurement systems' definition, suitable for carrying out tests in compliance with current regulations; Ensure compliance with calibration intervals’ expiry date; Carry out internal calibration operations and supervise the external calibration operations; Ensure revision and updates of the calibration operating instructions; Supervise calibrations performed by external LAT centers (analysis of certificates); Carry out metrological verification of the tools used within the industrial plants, following the delivery plan defined by the industrial area; Conduct specific programs (through LabVIEW) for EPL internal instruments’ management. At least Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering / Physics / Mathematics or equivalent Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Previous experience in Calibrations will be considered a plus Professional working proficiency in both Italian and English are a must-have Data driven, problem-solving approach and strong team working skills will complete the profile
