LONG DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE The COLLECTION MERCHANDISER will have the opportunity to support the Merchandising Team in the management of department and category goals in terms of turnover, sell out and stock rotation. The resource will have the opportunity to support the Team in the in-season inventory management and optimization, by using the leverage of call-off, product distribution and replenishment. KEY CHALLENGES AND PROBLEM AREAS · Supporting the review and maximize product flow based on the latest trends and assumptions to ensure the best assortment for stores · Supporting in the appropriate quantitative distribution of merchandise based on store performance · Supporting working with Store Operation department and Area Manager in analysing store performance and planning visits to markets and stores · Working with the Planning and Store Operation department to suggest and set up the correct markdown campaign and promotions · Supporting the management of the reverse logistic process steps for commercial returns · Supporting the management of end-of-season returns and the management of old merchandise to ensure its proper distribution in the outlet or stock jobber network · Collaborating with purchasing and marketing department to plan and implement marketing campaign CORE COMPETENCIES · Delivers in consistent way following his department priorities, respecting the deadlines · Pursues quality in accomplishing tasks paying attention to details and verifying information · Planning, Organizing and Result Orientation · Knows how to deal with people and team player · Relates well to all kinds of, up, down and sideways, inside and outside the organization · Good analytical and numerical skills · Good proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular good knowledge of Excel DEGREE · University in progress LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY · Italian · Good knowledge of English · Spanish (nice to have) LOCATION: · Limena (PD) · Possibility of working in Smart Working for part of the week after an initial on-site training period
