om   Join us as a Junior Software Engineer - Back End Developer   What you will be doing This role is based at our headquarters in Milan, where - along with all the key people - as an active member of Satispay, you will support and actively cooperate with the IT Team on different projects.
Specifically, you will have the unique opportunity to learn and contribute to building Satispay products and features, helping us figure out what our users really need, adding new features to existing products, and creating entirely new products, with the objective of making Satispay the best payment system available.
You could be working on anything from our APIs, and web interfaces to internal admin tools.
Despite the scale of our work, we're a friendly IT team that works closely with all departments to accomplish Satispay's mission.

You have.
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field Analytical approach and logical thinking Excellent knowledge of main computer and smartphone OS Passion for IT and curiosity for tech products Basic knowledge of any programming language and/or a brief experience in the role will be considered a plus Fluent knowledge of Italian and English - both written and spoken Our stack differs depending on the projects you are working on.
It ranges from Linux, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Java, Jersey, Spring, and Dynamo DB.
We also use AWS for our infrastructure, composed of a set of RESTful microservices deployed on EC2, using RDS/Dynamo DB for db persistence, S3 for file storage and AWS Lambda for serverless functions, Kinesis and ElasticSearch for log streaming.

Highly organized and able to work both in team and independently A very quick learner and adapts fast Enthusiastic about taking on new challenges and to work under pressure in a fast-paced international environment Proactive thinker, with the ability to 'think outside the box' Results-oriented, easy-going, entrepreneurial, and passionate about your work Knowledge of French or other European languages is considered a plus.
