Myrtle Beach, SC How Will You Shine? As a valued and successful Lead Cook, you will be required to.
Fill in for staff when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
Cook daily in the restaurant and for all Banquets Manage rotation and ensure all perishable items are dated.
Ensure stock is being rotated.
Can effectively manage food waste at acceptable industry standards.
Design and follow through with a cleaning schedule Train staff in cooking procedures.
Provide a prep list to surrounding staff to ensure each outlet has what they need.
Track and report/record food waste.
Provide the Food and Beverage Director with a weekly order sheet to ensure the kitchen is completely stocked.
Assist the F&B Director with the monthly inventory count.
Know the general operations of the department and how all resort departments work together to achieve business objectives and meet customer expectations Know restaurant standards and hold employees accountable for consistently meeting these standards.
Maintain favorable health department scores.
Maintain a clean and organized environment.
Attend all required meetings.
Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics, which inspire employees to meet and  exceed standards.
Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
Complete all necessary paperwork, meeting all due dates.
