MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Ecopol America is looking for motivated and dynamic individuals to join our team. The Plant Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the supervision of the maintenance team. Reports to the Plant Manager and will take care of the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance at the Griffin, GA facility in order to guarantee the correct functioning of the machinery and industrial equipment. Our unique production process allowed us to become the second largest producer of PVOH film in the world. We look for people that play an active role in our production process and that strongly contribute to the success and quality of our products. · Manage Maintenance Technicians · Responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing maintenance and technical improvements to production machinery and facility. · Restoration of the functioning of the machines, the prevention of breakdowns and anomalies and, in part, the improvement of the means of work. · Acting on faulty machine following requests for intervention by the Heads of Production Area, and a second intervention represented by the revision and / or execution of complex repairs with the machine stopped and / or in an area set up for these purposes. · Identifying imperfections in the machinery and their causes; disassemble parts to locate and eliminate faults; · Ensure periodic maintenance work is performed · Handle improvement recommendations for plant equipment reliability and maintenance-related problems solving. · Coach, develop, and monitor the performance of maintenance technicians · Implement and sustain continuous improvement within the maintenance department · Assist with hiring of maintenance personnel · Check and repair according to established procedures and at the end of each work performed, record the technical data relating to repair/maintenance carried out in the manner provided. · Design maintenance procedures · Maintain safety protocols for maintenance and service teams · Forecasting and ordering spare parts · Ensuring the availability of necessary tools and equipment · Definition of technical specifications of spare parts, consumables and work tools necessary for the execution of the work · Management of budgets and approval of expenses · Sourcing, commissioning and management of suppliers/subcontractors and other vendors for specialized maintenance work · Stepping in to help coordinate more complex maintenance work · Other duties as assigned · Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or 5+ years of Experience · Certificate of Electromechanical Expert preferred · Solid knowledge of inverter programming, electrical sensors and wiring diagrams; · Leadership and organizational skills · Ability to think tactically and strategically · Detail and results oriented · Computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office
