We are seeking a Material Planner to join our Operations Department.
Roles & Responsibilities Manage MRP (Materials Resource Planning), calculate and maintain in the planning systems and the ERPs the inventory parameters.

Be responsible for stock profile and segments the portfolio of materials through an ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management and commercial policy, defining inventory policies according to this segmentation Planning inventory needs to fulfill the future demand Organize transports and management of Forwarder Phase IN-OUT, inventory disposition management Participation in supply chain and warehouse improvement projects Interface with company functions and with suppliers (Italian and foreign) Reviewing the stock levels to ensure the business meets its production plans whilst maintaining levels of stock.
Very accurate control of stock before and after production, check the stock quantities, in order to prevent any lack of material Collaborate with purchasing departments to ensure appropriate lead times Support to warehouse management (incoming and WO) Support the Logistic Leader   Requirements At least 3 year experience on similar roles in logistic area Ownership and problem solving attitude, result oriented Teamwork attitude, good communication skills and courage complete the profile Experienced as demand planner in a MRP environment Preferred experience in manufacturing industries and in a multi-level production and products Experience in demand forecasting process and tools Experience in use of ERP environment (Netsuite preferable) Good written and spoken English Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point) Know-how of manufacturing, and logistic/order fulfillment processes Highly motivated, proactive, detail oriented and seeks accuracy in work product Capable of working in a fast changing and multi-tasking environment Lean Manufacturing Principles knowledge and application in manufacturing Medical Quality System knowledge (e.
