We are looking for a Material Planner to join our Electrification business.
You will be responsible for material planning starting from process optimization to purchase order release and control.
You will take responsibility over supply chain management granting excellent on-time delivery and efficient execution, orchestrating with other functions to optimize supply chain set-up.
You will manage raw materials\u planning parameters optimization complying with inventory constrains and best replenishment techniques.
Your responsibilities Calculate and maintain in the planning systems and the ERPs the inventory and planning parameters.
safety stock, reorder point, planning lot size, planning horizon, frozen period, lead-time, and replenishment strategies.
Collaborate with other operations functions for obtaining the best possible supply performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, MOQ, quality, lead-time, and flexibility.
Manage MRP (Materials Resource Planning) exception messages on daily basis.
Conduct financial risk assessments decisions relating to inventory, conducts root case analysis when necessary.
Analyze excess and obsolete/aging inventory.
Take appropriate action for optimizing inventory performance, in collaboration with Manufacturing, Procurement and Logistics.
Release purchase orders, also using advanced tools like APS or BI.
Balance subcontractors' capacity according to what defined during the monthly Supply review and ensuring them the right material availability in order to ensure the right supply mix.
Expedites production and support prioritization communicating internally and externally.
Orchestrate fulfillment optimization in collaboration with other functions.
Running daily checks / reports for process control and for process deviations and exceptions resolution.
Responsible for performance reporting (OTD, Lead Time, Inventory related KPIs, ITO, stock-outs etc.), developing effective communications and relations with all involved stakeholders (e.
.
logistics team, fulfillment specialist, demand planners, order handling team etc.).
Your background A Master Degree in Management Engineering or Mechanical/Computer Engineering or Economics.
1 years of experience in supply chain management working as material planner or at least as an intern.
Familiarity with SAP will be considered a plus.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel (Macros and Pivot).
Knowledge of data analysis and business intelligence tools (SQL, access, Power BI or similar) and knowledge of programming language as vba, vb.
et, vc ++ or similar is considered a plus.
Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
