Job Title Mechanical Design Engineer.
Purpose of the Job The mechanical design engineer will support the engineering team for the developement of new electrification railway and power-grid components with the aim at improving technology, reduce costs, and increase the range of products to offer to the market.
He/She will mainly focused on the design, industrialization and validation of power grid components with the goal to support and collaborate with all the technical departements i.

quality, industrialization, manufacturing, for any technical problems related to power-grid clamps.
Organization Structure Engineering departement.
Organizational Reporting Engineering and R&D Manager.
Network & Links Engineering departement, Quality departement, Industrialization departement and Supply Chain.
Responsabilities Performing all the engineering activities in compliance with QCD commitments Supporting Quality, Industrialization and Manufacturing teams during the homologation process Performing 2D and 3D drawings with Autocad and Solidworks Performing mechanical FEM simulations with Solidworks package Educational requirements Engineering degree Knowledge & Experience Mechanical engineering preferably applied to electrification products knowledgeable in SOLIDWORKS FEM package or equivalent Basic electric and thermal calculation skills (theoretical and numerical) Demostrate understanding of basic manufacturing technologies Good comunications and interpersonal skills including with third parties (suppliers) Time management and reporting skills Structured and organised with Hands-on approach English operational in read/writing and technical meetings Preferably knowledgeable in SAP/GSI production palnning (PP) package Job Location VALMADRERA-LC Site An agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
