MEP ENGINEER - INFRASTRUCTURE you will join our Department of Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering, in the business line Sustainable Infrastructure, which is responsible for the design of station facilities and those designed to ensure safety in railway tunnels.
Main Tasks The activities that the candidate will carry out will be oriented to the definition of design standards, the critical reading of those provided by the Client, the sizing of the systems and the preparation of graphic drawings or the coordination of any external designers, for the definition of the following plant systems serving the station building and those necessary to ensure safety in the tunnel.
Stormwater collection and pumping systems; Escape route lighting/ventilation systems; Water-fire systems of escape routes and fire-fighting points; Gallery electrical distribution systems; Fire alarm detection systems; Telecommunication systems (PAGA, LAN); Access control systems (CCTV, ACS/IDS).
Also will need to support the T&C office in developing technical specifications and work plans for Test&Commissioning of various systems.
Requirements.
Master's degree in Engineering preferably Mechanical; Specialization in the energy field may be an asset, as well as knowledge of energy conservation and optimization issues; having at least four years of experience in the field of design and installation of systems serving buildings for industrial applications and, preferably, also in those related to gallery safety.
Good knowledge and experience in 3D modeling with BIM methodology; in particular, knowledge of the modeling software REVIT, Navisworks, Magicad is required.
Also required is knowledge of specific software for sizing plant systems.

The Main Characteristics To Adequately Fill This Role Are.
Aptitude to understand contract requirements, technical specifications and basic design, providing correct interpretation of critical aspect aspects; Aptitude for interpreting risks and critical issues, analyzing alternatives to approach problems, and properly assessing the feasibility of the work; Ability to develop plant design with attention to the interrelationships among the various technological systems in the buildings and according to the project requirements in terms of quality of documentation and lead time; Ability to manage a team of people, negotiation and coordination skills; Knowledge of specific design of technological systems within buildings, budgeting and cost estimating, preventive accounting, scheduling of activities, quality control to be applied systematically to Executive Projects; Knowledge of the English language; Availability for travel nationally and internationally.
