Key Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanisms for space applications Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define and implement engineering solutions. Support the fabrication, assembly, and testing of prototypes. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate design and test results to the team. Sizing and simulate components using finite elements methodology and multibody tools. Perform component dimensioning through hand calculations. Draft manufacturing documentation and assembly procedures. Qualifications: Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanisms design. Strong knowledge in the design of rotary joints and transmission systems. Familiarity with components of transmission design, such as shafts, bearings, reducers, and couplings. Solid understanding of structural dynamics and its implications on design. Proficiency in CAD software Proficiency in multibody software is a plus. Knowledge of ECSS standards for mechanism design is a plus. Language: Proficiency in both English and Italian is required.
