We are looking for a talented Operations Analyst Intern who will find the balance between creativity and data-driven objectivity, to help us in carrying out projects that seem impossible until they come true.
You will be in charge of providing data for the main courier strategies of the Operations team.
Through analytics, you will be identifying different ways of maximizing the engagement of the couriers at an order, hour, and monthly level.
The KPIs that you’ll be shaping are among the most important ones for Operations, since all the decisions taken in the department impact directly on the investments of the whole department.
  THE JOURNEY   Provide analytical support to the regional teams through a deeper understanding of Glovo's operations model Continuous exploration and optimization of the main operations metrics (delivery time, efficiency, costs) methodology which will force you to understand the 360º of Glovo’s operations Collaborate with the Product team to produce analytical deep dives into the impact of new features in the Italian market Own dashboards and build new tools to improve the visibility of metrics in the department Develop analytical frameworks and models and be able to instruct and communicate with all the department Evaluate strategic opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative analyses and A/B tests Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the courier profitability through out-of-the-box thinking   WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE   A degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technological field.
A proactive attitude with a hands-on approach — you're not afraid to take initiative.
A genuine passion for analytics — you love diving deep into data to uncover insights and root causes.
Strong problem-solving skills — no challenge is too small or too complex.
Proficiency in SQL is essential; knowledge of Python is a strong plus.
Solid skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Google Data Studio, or QlikView.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Fluency in English and Italian is required.
