For our department we are currently seeking for a  Planner/Buyer (m/f)   (Ref.
W) The Logistics & Material Handling (LMH) department consists of three groups.
Planning & Buying, Warehousing and Logistics.
The LMH department is responsible for all materials management for Product Development for Clinical Trials including the planning and ordering of raw material, the warehousing and inventory control operations and the distribution of Samples and Drug Substance – either internally or in close collaboration with external partners such as other JnJ organizations, Suppliers, Contract Manufacturing Organizations or Contract Research Organizations.
YOUR responsibilities & YOUR impact.
We are looking for a pro-active Planner/Buyer who will successfully support the department and who will be embedded in the broader organization.
You will be responsible for procuring raw materials and services within the scope of business policies and procedures to support the business' manufacturing operations.
The Planner/Buyer is part of the Material Management Team with the following accountabilities.
§  Initiating and controlling routine material planning and buying operations and processes o   Performs the purchase to pay process (up to verification of invoices) o   Build and maintain forecast based on qualitative and quantitative information o   Ensure vendor & Material Master Data is accurate and complete o   Checks availability with warehouse, QC, QA against production requirements o   Troubleshoots discrepancies pertaining to purchase orders, material release, supplier deliveries, prices, quantities and quality  §  Participating in projects o   Team member of the New Material Introduction team, completes assigned project tasks on agreed time-lines o   Ensures strong relationship with internal partners and global functions such as Production, R&D, QA, QC and Plant Support Organizations o   Maintains supplier relationship for assigned suppliers o   Research and analyze possible sources/suppliers for requested items, provides alternatives or substitutions, when applicable and provides an overview of options to internal customers o   Works with the non-GMP lab supply on-site vendor to ensure efficient logistics for this category §  Creating and maintaining (Master) data in relevant systems such as SAP §  Other accountabilities o   Set-up and maintain Key Performance Indicators to monitor planning/buying operations and drive sourcing decisions o   Support/initiate proposals to improve processes o   Supports in the escalation of material or supplier-related issues and notifies appropriate personnel of anticipated problems o   Process vendor and material changes as required o   Answering relevant questions about Purchase Orders, reservations and invoices for internal and external partners The Planner/Buyer will act as a Subject Matter Expert on material planning processes, systems set-up, supplier capabilities and buying processes related to our development programs.
You will report to the Manager Logistics and Material Supply.

  Qualifications We would love to hear from YOU, if you have:    Essential HBO or equivalent education in a relevant discipline.
Some experience in a Supply Chain environment is a plus.
Experience with working in a GMP environment, working with relevant planning tools (SAP) and general knowledge of pharmaceutical material market are advantages.
Digital literacy and able to process data-sets is essential.
Given the international environment in which you will have to operate, fluency in the English language is required.

Strong planning and organizational skills and a well-developed understanding of process excellence and business acumen are key for this position.
