Job Description Our Mission We are looking for a Pomellato Financial Controller to join our dynamic finance team based in Milan.
You will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the company's results and organization.
Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Control, you will be responsible for managing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance.
Your Opportunity Develop and implement strategies for managing operating expenses in alignment with the company's financial objectives and growth plans.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads and senior management to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to support decision-making and resource allocation.
Monitor and evaluate actual performance against budget and forecast, conducting variance analysis and recommending corrective actions as needed.
Establish and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets, minimize risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across the organization to streamline processes, optimize resource allocation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for executive management and board of directors, providing clear and concise explanations of financial performance and key metrics.
Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, leveraging insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives Who you are Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and controlling functions.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling techniques, and performance metrics.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.
., SAP, Hyperion) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages a plus.
