he "2D Materials Engineering" Research Line is coordinated by Dr.
Camilla Coletti,who has extensive experience in 2D materials, surface science, chemical vapor deposition and photonics.
The mission of 2D Materials Engineering is to synthesize, investigate, and tailor two-dimensional materials and their heterostructures with the goal of enabling next generation photonic, electronic, biomedical and quantum devices.

Within the team, your main responsibilities will be.
mplementing state-of-the-art graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides processing technology at high TRL, ranging from large-area synthesis via CVD, to transfer on photonic waveguides and device fabrication on wafer scaleInvestigating the integration of graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides with other layered materials and thin film dielectricsMaterial characterization via microscopy, spectroscopy and electrical measurementsWorking on 2D material-based photonic devices for telecom and datacom applications.
