he Applied Energy Materials and Technologies Research line is coordinated by Isabella Poli, who has extensive experience in photovoltaic materials and characterization.
The research focuses on the development of novel materials and technologies for carbon capture and utilization, solar fuels generation and photovoltaic.
our main responsibilities will be:%26middot; design, synthesis and characterization of new types of photocatalysts, based on metal organic frameworks (MOFs) and metal halide perovskite (MHP) materials as efficient (photo)catalysts for CO2 reduction, focusing on solvent-free synthesis, such as mechanochemical approaches.%26middot; carry out electrochemical measurements and evaluate the results to gain insight into the redox activity and electrocatalytic performance of the so-obtained MOFs and MHPs.
