Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Product Owner NextGen Manufacturing Systems (PAS-X), located in various regions.
Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the company. A pre-identified candidate for consideration has been identified.
However, all applications will be considered.
This position will have oversight and accountability for the J&J Pharma NextGen Manufacturing Systems program.
The technical product owner will lead a distributed team in crafting and implementing the strategy and roadmap for MES within our critical manufacturing sites.
The primary product/application is PAS-X MES although the product owner will have accountability for integration and successful delivery of partner systems working in conjunction with the MES platform.
This is an opportunity to drive digital transformation within a high visibility environment and to craft strategic direction for the company's digital strategy.
This leader will be responsible for the platform cost to deliver, end to end lifecycle, and total cost of ownership.
They will ensure that the NextGen Manufacturing Platform meets the intended use and delivers value to the business.
Key Responsibilities.
Helps carve out the product vision Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define product requirements.
Prioritizes product demand & backlog – understands economic models to lead prioritization and applies systems thinking.
Generates key user insights and requirements.
Drives product line vision and ensures development and maintenance of a multi-year product strategy.
Supports definition of success criteria for products and solutions.
Crafts and owns product roadmap including collaboration with local site-based product owners to rationalize and standardize the product line.
Collaborates with Technology Services and Architecture teams in defining future product deployment strategies aligned with our Next Generation Mfg System Platform Architecture.
Drives the team and ensures that all are working towards a common goal, ultimately delivering value Sprint Planning.
Elaborates on stories.
Sprint Review.
Approves new stories and adds regular feedback, includes business/partners in product reviews to gain direct feedback.
Defines acceptance criteria.
Actively participates on Scrum rites.
Participates in retrospectives.
Monitors sprint metrics, release metrics, and usability test results.
Prioritizes functionality for release.
Leads project (oversight), scope and issue resolution.
Partner with project manager, scrum master, technical lead, and business process owner to drive alignment.
Working closely with all collaborators including our TS team to ensure that deployed solutions are efficient, effective and support the business process goals and objectives across the enterprise.
Ensures completion of process and system documentation.
Ensures communication of progress and status.
Continuously thinks of the product Ensures adoption.
Ensures that the next iteration is what the users need.
Monitors usage.
Keeps a close eye on usage and resolves next steps.
Conducts surveys and feedback sessions to remain close to users.
Monitors performance.
Works with partners to ensure availability and performance requirements are understood and leads the team to identify issues and solutions.
Collaborate with industry organizations and vendors.
To stay current on developments and challenges of potential solutions and architectures.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent technical/managerial experience.
Experience and Skills.
Required.
7+ years of Supply Chain IT Delivery Experience Experience working in projects utilizing Agile methodology Experience leading product backlog preferably using JIRA Experience with rRDM or equivalent requirements capturing tools for assessment and prioritization of user stories Experience working within a regulated (GxP) environment Track record of program delivery of Supply Chain projects including technical management and governance of sophisticated regional and global initiatives across multiple sites and/or regions.
Experience leading global, multi-location teams Experience in leading vendor partners in development, delivery, and support of complex technical systems across a multi-site network Specific Make product Werum PAS-X, platform, or solution knowledge including its usage in the broader Pharma/Life Science industry.
Supervisory/People Management experience Preferred.
Experience in delivering business value through Information Technology and Innovation.
Understanding and experience across multiple Make product areas but focused knowledge and experience with Manufacturing Execution System processes and modules typically used within Make processes.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, ability to empower in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ability to communicate and socialize current knowledge of industry and technology trends.
Able to understand context around key business drivers and strategic plans, able to present ideas in business-friendly language.
Experience of planning and running operational budgets.
