As we embark on a significant project involving the decommissioning and dismantling of the Mantua Refinery in Mantova, we are seeking a dedicated QAQC Inspector to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the project duration.
Position Overview.
As a QAQC Inspector, you will play a crucial role in our refinery decommissioning and dismantling project.
You will be responsible for conducting inspections, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and project specifications.
Your attention to detail and commitment to upholding safety standards will be essential in achieving the project's objectives efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities.
Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of equipment, structures, and materials to identify defects or non-conformities.
Document inspection results, including detailed reports and records of findings.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Monitor the implementation of quality control measures and ensure adherence to established procedures.
Participate in internal and external quality audits as required.
Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding quality assurance and quality control processes.
Promote a culture of safety and quality excellence throughout the project.
Requirements.
Proven experience as a QAQC Inspector in a refinery, petrochemical, or similar industrial environment.
Thorough understanding of quality assurance and quality control principles, practices, and methodologies.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.
., API, ASME, OSHA).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Certificationor training in quality management systems (e.
., ISO ) is desirable.
Prior experience in decommissioning and dismantling projects is a plus.
