Job Description.
The QR_DEV is the quality member of the development team, he/she guarantees that the internal rules and Customer requirements are available, followed and satisfied.
He’s/she’s responsible of the lesson learnt process (e.
.
in the D/P FMEA meetings), reporting to QR_DEV_C.
He/she supports the QR_DEV_C, located in the Leadhouse, for all the activities connected with the product design and development process.
Key Responsibilities.
1) For projects developed in his/her plant, guarantee that the quality requirements of the Customer (general and technical) are managed (known,understood, implemented).

) For projects produced in his/her plant, guarantee that the quality checks described in the document QSMEN “Sample Request Sheet (SRS) + Sample Conformity Statement (SCS)” are done and the results are according with the defined requirements.

) For projects produced in his/her plant, guarantee that the additional checks, required by the QR_DEV of the lead house, are done and the results are according with the defined requirements (push-pull process depending on the cases).
2) Support the RFQ and development teams on the risk management process.
3) For projects developed in his/her plant, attend to the design reviews, D-FMEA meetings and project follow-up meetings, bringing the know-how of the Company and the production plants, in term of.
experience, statistics, past, current and potential quality problems (lesson learnt process); attend on demand by QR_DEV_C for projects developed in Leadhouse.
4) Attend to P-FMEA meetings supporting the FMEA team by mean of experience, statistics, past, current and potential quality problems (lesson learnt process).
5) Coordination of the lessons learned regular meetings with MQA and CCL and approval of the recorded lessons learned in the LL database.
6) For projects developed in his/her plant, lead the quality gate reviews through the project criticity level document.
7) For projects developed in his/her plant, release the monthly project quality report, according data coming from the project criticity level document.
8) Support the PM for the claim management in the product development process, for all the samples produced in his/her plant.
In case of Customer portal filling-in is required, the QR_DEV may ask the support of CCL.
9) Containment, corrective and preventive actions proposal in case of internal quality issues on the different maturity phases of the product development process.
10) Support the team in the modification management process (ML on demand).
11) Manage and attend to the Customer audit during the development (on demand).
12) Assure that the key characteristic list (or special characteristics list) is present and considered as input for PFMEA.
13) Lead the reinforced approval process, in the product development or change management processes, in case of risky supplier and/or risky product/production process (it could include also that QR_DEV attends at the visit at the supplier plant or asks SQA to attend).
14) Support the CCL for the claim management when the non conformity is due to a design issue.
15) Support the Eng.
department during the preparation of the manufacturing report and assure the found issues are managed.
16) When the project gets the SOP phase, he/she takes care of the handover to CQA and CCL of the involved plant(s), also with a meeting if necessary.
Requirements.
– English Language (B2 level).
– Master’s degree in Electronic or Telecommunications Engineering.
– Occasional trips to Germany.
– Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA processes / methodologies.
– Knowledge of the work products (report, verifications, documents,….) of the development process.
– Knowledge of Customer standards (CSR), mainly the ones related to quality topics (mainly for QR_DEV of the lead house).
– Knowledge of Microsoft application (mostly Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
– Knowledge of Problem Solving methodologies, SPC methodology (Cp, Cpk, …).
– Knowledge of the products and related technical requirements.
– Knowledge of ERP system (RM, FG warehouse; BOM).
– Knowledge of the procedures, OIs, templates of the development process.
– Pragmatic approach, Leadership, Persuasion and coordination capabilities.
