The Abiomed team is actively seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the role of Regional Sales Manager in Italy.
We are searching for an individual who possesses exceptional leadership abilities, a strong sales and technical background, and a deep understanding of the medical device industry.
In this role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a team of sales representatives and drive revenue growth in their assigned region.
We are looking for someone who is strategic, results-oriented, and able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Main responsabilities.
•    Direct the region’s sales activities & develop Commercial and Clinical sales plan to fulfill the assigned growth and revenue goals of their region •    Responsible for ensuring maximum sales volume of the Company’s products and services •    Set sales goals and forecasts and responsibility for hiring and training of new employees  •    Develop strategies for launching new accounts and greater penetration in existing accounts •    Establish effective communications with executives and managers across the company to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of sales •    Handle difficult sales negotiations, especially with largest prospects •    Build relationships with critical decision makers and KOL'S in the assigned area •    Participate in scientific conferences, congresses and trade fairs in Germany/Europe and Global Sales Meetings •    Maintain business expenses in accordance with company guidelines.
•    Demonstrate a strong work ethic and represent the company with high integrity, ethics, honesty, loyalty, and professionalism.
•    Ability to travel 80% within region required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 10+ experience in medical device cardiovascular space is a must.
5 years of management experience of a field commercial team is required.  Previous experience in interventional cardiology is highly preferred  Experience in distribution/agency management will be a plus  Fluent English and Italian Proven track record of success in managing a growing sales team.
Ability to gain cooperation of others and lead team members.
Ability to negotiate and influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.
Strategic selling skills.
