SALES AND TENDERING ENGINEER INDUSTRY

Industry-E717 Sales and Tendering Engineer Industry  -  Full Time  -  Vimodrone (Milano),  Italy       Join our Industry  & Water   team within  Flow Equipment  division in  Italy  as  Sales and Tendering Engineer Industry  to help us take Sulzer to the next level.
Your main tasks and responsibilities.
Prepare quotations (careful reading customer’s specifications, selection of adequate products, TOA, 10 GR, COSP, PA, STARS, Salesforce, price calculation, quotation making with precise deviation list, etc.) Quotations follow up and reporting (Salesforce) Negotiations and participation in clarification and kick off meetings Orders (acknowledgement, clear syntheses, launching (SAP), delivery time follow up, invoices & payments follow up, warranties opening & follow up) Follow up of projects from tendering to financial closure Maintain and execute customer order backlog for assigned territories/accounts Coordinate with sales representatives (direct or indirect), warehouse and factory staff on shipments to customers; expedites orders as needed Report and communicate customers information.
Enter and maintain database records (Salesforce) of customer profiles and prepares and maintains status reports Assist Management on reporting (budget, rolling forecast, MBR and the like) Bring all ideas and suggestions to increase Sales effectiveness Participate in and actively support company initiatives Apply LEAN directives and communicate with the Team Familiar with the environmental aspects and impacts of the activities and processes involved in the role and the procedures, practices and measures to manage the impact Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices and measures in place to mitigate the risks   Educational background Diploma in Engineering Intermediate user of Microsoft products.
Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
Experience with an ERP and CRM systems   Professional experience incl.
markets, international experience etc.
Professional experience, 5 years as a minimum Strong negotiation skills Experience in sales support functions   Personal strengths Superior organizational and analytical skills Problem solving and conflict management Open for changes, demonstrates willingness to change Customer and Team orientation International thinking and acting Ability to work independently but remain team focused Ability to effectively manage schedules and deadlines while prioritizing   Languages Italian English (mandatory) Other European languages will be considered as a plus   If you’re an Engineer qualified with proven expertise in developing Water & Industrial strategies  and driving continuous improvement across the Sales and Tendering department, take the next step and make the most of your  skills.
