We are searching for the best talent for a Sales Representative Lead to be located in Alajuela, Costa Rica.
Purpose:  The purpose of a Senior Sales Representative Johnson & Johnson Vision is to drive revenue growth, build and maintain strong client relationships, and contribute to the strategic direction of the sales team of the distributor.
This role involves leveraging experience and expertise to achieve sales targets (BP, JU & NU) mentor junior team members, and identify opportunities for market expansion.
  The key purposes of this role.
 Mentorship and Leadership.
Provide guidance and support to Extend sales Team, helping them to develop their skills and achieve their goals.
Lead by example, demonstrating effective sales techniques and a customer-focused approach.
 Market and Industry Insight.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, price analysis and competitor actions.
Use this information to anticipate opportunities and threats, adjusting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
 Negotiation and Deal Closure.
Lead complex negotiations with key customers, ensuring favorable terms for the company while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Close high-value deals that significantly contribute to the company’s revenue.
 Customer Satisfaction.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support.
Address customer concerns and feedback promptly to build trust and loyalty.
 Cross-Functional Collaboration.
Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
Provide market feedback to help refine products and services to better meet customer needs.
  Reporting and Analysis.
Monitor sales Tactical performance and generate reports for senior management.
Use data and analytics Sell IN & OUT to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions.
 Innovation and Continuous Improvement.
Identify and implement sales techniques (Business Academy) and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Continuously seek ways to innovate and improve the sales approach to stay ahead in the Territories.
 Revenue Generation.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas set by the company (BP, JU, NU) Drive the growth of sales revenue through effective sales strategies and execution.
Customer Relationship Management.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key customer and high-value accounts, Distributors, ECP’s.
Act as the main point of contact for significant customers, KOL’s, ECP’S, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
 Strategic Sales Planning.
Develop and implement strategic sales & Marketing plans to meet company objectives.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Key responsibilities.
Senior support individual contributor that executes tasks that are typically not routine by guiding others.  Provides support for executive leaders in the Channel Sales function.  Helps guide other team members to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.  Maintains high standards of professionalism, efficiency, personal communication, discretion, and independent judgment.
Coordinates tasks for the organization's Channel Sales and supports team on the execution of tasks to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
Delivers Sales vs.
Quota by month, quarter,  KPI’s and full year for assigned accounts and/or geography.
Acts as a point of contact for internal and external constituencies on matters pertaining to executives and channel sales, prioritizing, and determining the appropriate course of action, response, or referral.
Communicates effectively with employees, management, external business contacts, and partners in a courteous and professional manner.
Helps review and prepare data, and coordinates materials for meetings and correspondence.
Participates in the onboarding of new partners and delivers administrative support to facilitate Channel Sales operations.
Demonstrates Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo.
Job is eligible for sales incentive / sales commissions.
Qualifications Qualifications Education.
The qualified candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or similar.
Desirable with an MBA.
Experience and Skills.
Required.
Relevant experience in healthcare markets, such as medical device, pharmaceutical or consumer.
Experience in the ophthalmic market is an advantage.
Sales and Negotiation.
Verbal & Written Communication Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively present and persuade.
Relationship Management (Customer Service & Networking) Analytical and Strategic Thinking (Data Analysis & Problem-Solving) Customer-Centric, Results-Driven.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point) Ethical Conduct.
At least 5 years related experience.
Proficient in English and Spanish is required.
Other.
Travel is required about 25% of the time.
