We are searching for the best talent for a Sales Representative Surgical Vision to be located in Santiago, Chile.
Purpose.
This professional has a commercial, clinical support and account management scope.
From this position, it is expected the business development of the market where she/he operates.
This position works closely with the distributors which operates in that market, working as a focal point to support commercialization for the entire Surgical Vision portfolio.
This position should maintain an active role to support the current portfolio and the introduction & adoption of new products and technologies in the market, giving specialized clinical support and training for clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
The specialized support and demonstrations to Health Care Providers can also be delivered at Hospitals, in the operating rooms.
Execution of the strategic and tactical plan of the business, reaching the general sales goals, leading commercial process in compliance with all the business requirements, guiding the distributor in all the requirements.
Building strong relationships with the distributor & final customers.
In alignment with the distributor, the professional is responsible for identifying and promoting relationship events with the main stakeholders and decision makers of its client portfolio.
This position works closely with the J&J Surgical Vision team, ensuring the implementation of the strategies defined by the marketing team and the leadership team.
It also participates in initiatives to launch new products and technologies.
You will be responsible for.
Ensure that the strategy & marketing plan are converted into sales goals, business objectives and planned activities for the distributor teams.
Provide specialized clinical support and training for clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
Main Products.
Intraocular Lens for Cataracts and Phacoemulsification equipments.
This training and assistance could be also delivered in the operating rooms to Health Care Providers.
Work with distributors to ensure accurate forecast, distribution, pricing and promotions for the portfolio assigned.
Ensure that Distributors are clear and aligned to the annual business plan and achieve this with a special focus on financial capacity and performance.
Link business plans to external alignment and shared vision.
Actively monitor the competition and propose impact actions to improve the positioning of our products.
Continuous effort to obtain market information.
identification of client needs, expectations and environmental changes in the sector.
Support the proper management and compliance of contracts.
Develop and maintain good working relationships and processes with all Support Functions to assist sales in resolving complex issues Monitor and challenge performance delivery for each distributor with monthly performance reviews that seek to continuously implement solutions that help growth.
Develop and maintain strong and meaningful relationship and partnership with all distributor owners and key stakeholders by effective communication and team-working activities.
Cultivate strategic alliances and nurture relationships to achieve market penetration Qualifications Education, Experience and Qualifications Education & Experience College level (Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Optometry, Engineering, Biomedicine,).
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with Medical Devices, preferably Ophthalmology products Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ophthalmology background Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications for everyday business use Oral and written communication skills that allow effective communication with the company and opinion leaders Highly oriented to customer service, support and results Oriented to work independently, assuming responsibilities and reporting results and metrics.
Analytical, self-management and problem-solving skills, together with a sense of urgency High ethical standards Adaptable and curious-minded.
