Job Description Role purpose You will be responsible for corn field production and growers' follow up in Po Valley Growing Area, from field planning to harvest (according to the country SPP and local split); delivering the right quantity and quality requested by Syngenta.
Accountabilities Support the Field Production Manager during the growers’ contracting phases Responsible for growers’ management and Corn production follow up in Po Valley Growing Area including field allocation, tillage practices, sowing, fertilization, irrigation, detasseling, chemical application and harvest Seasonal field controller during corn flowering and detasseling operations Applies the follow-up process of field production on regular base usage of a digital data collector Interaction with R&D, Seed Production Research, Trial Seeds and Plant Processing In compliance with HSES Syngenta’s requirements Qualifications Knowledge, Experience & Capabilities Critical qualification Minimum “Diploma Perito Agrario”, preferred Agriculture Degree Excellent knowledge of excel & Microsoft Office Fluent in Italian and English level B2 A valid driving license is needed (B) Residing in Cremona/Piacenza area or available to reallocate Critical knowledge & Experience Basic Agronomics knowledge Problem-solving, teamwork Ensure support and a proactive approach Carry out work in compliance with Legal and Syngenta standards on HSEQ Ensure responsive and accurate communication flows with all functions Establish excellent working relationships with key functions/stakeholders Additional Information Location.
