" DHL Fulfillment Network is a product we sell to our customers as highly standardized and replicable.
The product is designed for fast rollout and fast adoption.
In order to reach this target a good and well designed product is the key to success as all the elements of the delivery directly depends on the product.
Deployment speed depends on the product as a good product design makes life of implementers easier and projects faster and cheaper as well as stable run depends on quality of components of the product.
Being Senior Manager of DFN IT Product management offers a unique opportunity to be on the leading seat for one of our top global product in the world of eFulfillment.
The work is highly stimulating and involves collecting input from 40+ countries in the world and ensure all the legal and business requirements are incorporated in an effective and replicable way into the product.
The role is preferably based in Settala, Italy but can possibly be based in Germany as well.
What will be your responsibilities? •Work with business DFN Product Management team and incorporate the business changes in a reasonable and coordinated way in the product by managing the changes into the IT Product •Inspire and influence the business DFN team to adopt changes that naturally coming from Global IT Strategy or the individual IT Product roadmap •Manage the DFN IT product roadmap and communicates in a clear and understandable way •Manage a team to execute product management for DFN •Clearly communicate and manage all deviations to the standard and define with implementation and product team the best ways to manage that in the future •Ensure every supplier is committed on right priorities •Analyze and report to Product & Deployment team any recurrent problem that can be improved with better product or deployment procedures & adopt the changes introduced by the DFN Product Management team •Ensure timely communication is in place with stakeholders •Manage installation of patches for all products and manage the communication with all stakeholders •Ensure the security policies are respected at all levels for the correct usage of the application •Collaborate in the definition of changes and deployment procedures to maximize the stability of the solution •Guide people in the change process from actual operative procedures to the new procedures What do we need from you? •Minimum of 5 years in IT Product Management and 3 years in warehousing/transport domain •Bachelor degree (HBO/Hogeschool) in an IT or business discipline, or relevant experience in supply chain and/or logistics sector •Being fluent in English in any form (written & oral); other languages are welcome but not mandatory •Managerial skills and the ability to manage own and outsourced work in an organized and methodical way, maintaining accurate records and reporting progress •Ability to work in a high-pressure demanding environment with out-of-working hour calls to cover global scope •Ability to influence and drive strategic view in the projects and solutions, emphasizing best practices, high quality and high efficient results •Good knowledge of and insight in E2E supply chain management We look forward to your application! - Please send us your CV in English RCS Grade.
