SENIOR PEOPLE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST - EMEA SOUTH

If this sounds like you, then we’d love to chat!    Role Background  The People team at RELEX currently consists of 60+ professionals located in several countries globally, the majority in Helsinki.
To reach our growth plans and to ensure we serve our RELEXians to the best possible level, we are now looking for a full-time Senior People Operations Specialist to join our People team and take care of our EMEA South countries.
Across EMEA South we have 6 locations, Lille and Paris in France, Milan and Venice in Italy, Lisbon in Portugal and Barcelona in Spain.
You can be located either in Italy, France, or Helsinki, Finland.
As our Senior People Operations Specialist, you’ll be working at the very heart of our People Team, working to support and partner with our countries and functions in a highly engaged environment.
You will have ownership of the entire employee lifecycle, including HR data management, and be there for our colleagues in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal from the very moment they onboard.
To succeed as our Senior People Operations Specialist you will need to have a “let’s get this done” mindset and be driven to work under your own initiative.
What you’ll be doing  Full employee life cycle support, from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between.
Supporting our team leads and colleagues in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal with all of their HR and people-related topics, as e.
.
policy, time-off, benefits, compensation and other questions.
Responsible for Payroll input preparation for Portugal, Italy and France.
HR system updates and associated employee data quality management.
Supporting in the writing and maintenance of people policies, team lead guides and training sessions for team leads.
Drafting and advising on local benefit and compensation related matters   Handling employee escalation cases  Working closely with local leadership and local partners, e.

payroll and legal, to ensure that HR operations in your functions are running smoothly and compliantly.
What you’ll bring to the table.
You have a solid background of People / HR Operations experience in one or several of our EMEA South countries, ideally in a multi-country, global environment.
You have previously worked closely with HR systems, people policies (creation and maintenance) and compensation and benefits related topics.
You have hands-on experience with the payroll cycle.
You have a strong understanding of all core people processes, with a view of what works and what doesn’t.
You enjoy taking ownership and solving problems proactively.
Excellent organizational skills and can-do attitude combined with networking skills, assertiveness, and the willingness to take initiative.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills Fluency in English.
With full working fluency in Italian and/or French as a plus.
