SENIOR RISK MANAGER, PRODUCT SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE

e are seeking a experienced Senior Risk Manager, to lead and develop a team of program managers responsible for risk policy and governance initiatives in the Europe and UK.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to set strategic direction and drive cross-functional collaboration.
n this role, you will lead a team of professionals working on complex programs with considerable impact across multiple organizations.
Your primary responsibilities will include driving, developing and executing the overall program strategy, in line with global orientation, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
You will be responsible to drive the team in assessing and managing the risk, scoping, defining and managing the policies to drive proactive initiatives to efficiently, accurately and effectively detect and prevent unsafe products being listed on Amazon stores for the benefit of our customers and selling partners.
Defining these policies requires a deep understanding of the Product, Food Safety and Compliance programs (e.
.
classification, policy management, document reviews, safety investigations, product recalls) and includes the identification and implementation of right compliance tools to track, store and mine all statutory provisions, as well as understanding the product requirements set by regulations and standards.
ou will daily partner and consult with business, legal, technical teams, customer service, and other internal/external teams to set objectives, define requirements, and implement sustainable and systemic solutions to deliver on long term program goals and influence policy.
A successful candidate will be comfortable with balancing strategic thinking with tactical, detailed execution while working independently, sorting through ambiguously defined problems, identifying and facing challenges, and adjusting to sudden and frequent change.
