General information regarding the role.
Drives the patient support programs, solutions and initiatives for patients aiming to drive better patient outcomes.
Drives disease awareness programs for public.
Understands and assess the unmet medical needs & the challenges of the patient community.
Gather relevant business input from Romanian patients/patients’ associations on developed services and support patient programs.
Initiates and maintains relationships with key stakeholders.
Identifies opportunities for optimization of programs and communicates progress internally and externally.
·     This Role is NOT eligible for sales incentives.
Essential duties and responsibilities.
 Identifies, validates, creates, and implements PSPs, services, and solutions for patients, in partnership with CVT/EVT & in-scope departments.
Monitors and optimises PSPs, services, and solutions for patients.
Acts as SPOC for PSPs.
Acts as Project manager for PSPs related activities.
Responsible for documenting the process of implementation of patient programs in company’s systems.
Understands needs and challenges of patient communities.
Collaborates with CVT/EVT & cross-departments.
Ensures alignment in a matrix environment.
Provides analysis of programs, to ensure information integrity related to company's programs.
Supports Governmental Affairs department in driving the debate with public authorities for rising the awareness about patients’ needs and existing support programs and services.  Continue assess the risk of the existing programs in a continuing changing external environment.
Participates in creating the policies and procedures for development of support programs medical by public authorities.
Delivers training to internal/external stakeholders for programs implementation.
Maintains good relationship with external providers for assuring flawless implementation and optimization of the programs.
Develops services and patient support programs budget plans and establishes cost controls to ensure that the expenses are in the approved budget.
Possess appropriate medical knowledge, continuously updating it, within the company area of activities.
Creates and approves support materials for optimal rollout of the programs.
Ensures preparation and review of all necessary documentation for programs.
Creates and delivers patient-aimed communication materials in close cooperation with Medical Affairs, PR & Communication, HEMAR and Governmental Affairs Main interactions Internal.
CVTs/EVTs, HCC, Quality & Compliance committee members, Governmental Affairs & Communication, Procurement, iConnect specialist.
External: HCPs, Patient associations, ANMDM, Non- governmental organizations, Vendors Other responsibilities Ensuring safety reporting requirements (timely AE/PQC reporting) as set out in company policies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are met and appropriately managed when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects, and contracting vendors.
Ensuring HCC, quality and legal requirements are fully understood, appropriately managed, and complied with when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects, and contracting vendors.
Ensuring inspection readiness with respect to personal training compliance, and availability of a recent SoE and individualised Job Description The Medical Affairs Services, Patient Support Programs Manager Role is an office-based role with possible field activities.

Knowledge of English language (fluent speaking and writing).
Relevant working experience of minimum 5 years in pharma industry.
Project management skills in pharmaceutical field.
Product knowledge & TA awareness.
Excellent presentation skills including effective listening; writing, verbal communication are essential.
Strong analytical and persuasion/negotiation skills; collaborative style.
Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
Ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders; cultivate long term and strategic relationships.
An understanding of the needs and behaviors of a broad variety of stakeholders, including patients, their families, and medical professionals.
