You will join a new mRNA GMP facility in Monza and participate in the general compliance of the mRNA site by providing advice on strategies applicable to the innovative mRNA product, collaborating with different team as Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Project management and Control.
You will be a key support to the mRNA business growth and being part of the quality team, in accordance with the mRNA Quality Head to ensure the compliance of the company to the quality regulations (laws, GMP, FDA, ATMP), through the management of an innovative approach named nudge.
Nudge theory is a concept in behavioral economics, decision making, behavioral policy, social psychology, consumer behavior, and related behavioral sciences that proposes adaptive designs of the decision environment (choice architecture) as ways to influence the behavior and decision-making of groups or individuals.
Nudging contrasts with other ways to achieve compliance, such as education, legislation or enforcement.
We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our team and contribute to the implementation of Nudge concepts in our manufacturing and control processes within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.
The intern will work closely with our team of professionals to design and implement initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, productivity, and compliance through the application of behavioral science principles.
What is a day in the Life? GMP activities as production or control should be compliant to the regulation.
Management of compliance is often limited by the potential deviation occurring during the process.
Hiring competent person, training, coaching, support of quality team are solution to improve the respect of the GMP and nevertheless we observe regularly several gaps.
The starting point, will be to conduct research on the Nudge concept and its applications in production and control environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find opportunities for Nudge implementations in our GMP operations.
Design and develop innovative Nudge strategies and interventions to enhance employee behavior and decision-making.
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Nudge initiatives, ensuring alignment with GMP regulations and guidelines and use as a support to drive the approach.
Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of Nudge interventions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with teams to create training materials and workshops to educate employees on Nudge concepts and encourage adoption.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to Nudge implementations in GMP environments.
Support ad-hoc projects related to process improvement, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
Keys to Success.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Engineering, Behavioral Economics, or a related discipline.
Strong interest in applying behavioral science principles to improve operational efficiency and compliance in a GMP environment.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and regulations is highly desirable.
Familiarity with innovative concept and its practical applications in various industries.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel or statistical software is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also being a proactive team player.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applying behavioral science principles within a GMP environment.
