The role of Chicago Showroom Sales Associate is essential to supporting our efforts in the Midwest. This position maintains the showroom and helps to support the broader Sales team; particularly in the Midwest and Chicago metro area. RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Be knowledgeable about all Arper products and services to act as a resource to clients · When necessary, help Chicago sales team manage project opportunities through all phases from initial evaluation to post-installation follow-up and support · Prepare offers on your own and/or with the support of the Arper's Bidding department · Assist Chicago Sales team in managing warranty claims in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail and a customer-centric approach · When needed, represent Arper to clients, showroom engagements, sales calls, and at tradeshows and other related events · Utilize Salesforce (CRM) to manage all sales activity, helping to ensure the Chicago team’s information is up to date and accurate · Manage furniture and finish sample inventories in the showroom · When required, coordinate through a messenger furniture pick up and return · Help organize events in the showroom and perform other duties as assigned · Collect feedback from current or potential customers and share with internal team Qualifications: · Customer service experience required · Business development and industry experience preferred · Results-oriented strategic thinker with quality and depth of decision-making · Bachelor's or Architecture/Design degree preferred · Strong business acumen, customer service and project management skills desired · Proficient with Microsoft Office and various CRM and Project Management software tools · Commitment to delivering best-in-class client experience, always acts with customer’s needs in mind, dedicated to meeting the customers’ expectations, adjusting the strategy as needed · Successfully manages multiple and competing projects and deadlines · Demonstrates integrity and trust by acting ethically and gaining the trust and respect of others · Excellent communication, public speaking and presentation skills - writes, speaks, and presents information accurately, concisely, and compelling across communication settings and to a variety of audiences Your personality: Outgoing and proactive problem solver having a can-do, solution-oriented mindset; focus on how to drive to the best possible outcome Be relentless, resourceful, and entrepreneurial; with a commitment to continuous improvement Be nimble and flexible; adapt quickly to changing circumstances or new insights Operate in a prioritized fashion; know what you are trying to get done and focus your resources Be in the details and hands on; think strategically but drive to action Arper USA, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
