Ideal applicant would work with Operations Center located in Gartner office in Gurgaon, India.
People Management role ensuring performance management and upskilling the resources through training portals and online learning modules.
Manage daily operations on service restorations within the defined SLA and target KPI’s of the operation center.
This role requires an extremely high degree of intra-team interaction and inter-team collaboration, thus having optimal business communications skills are particularly important.
What you will do.
Analyzing, debugging, and improving various integration solutions.
Collaborating effectively with large software engineering teams.
Support and guide associate to follow best practices of Incident life cycle.
Responsible for Weekly and Monthly KPI metrics for operation center and IT Service Management teams Explore opportunities to transition level 2 operational activities from Engineering teams to operations center.
Manage Major Incidents P1/P2 by wearing the hat of Incident commander during critical outages and ensure to have a Post Incident review with engineering and app dev teams to document the root cause of an incident.
Governance of Problem management and managing monthly problem review board with senior leadership and stakeholders making sure to govern all corrective actions to avoid repeat outages.
Working directly with SaaS provider for fault resolution on application support  Contribute to Weekly IT Service Management focus group for establishing interrelations between Incident, Problem, change and configuration management.
Proactive and agile to manage IT applications and infrastructure events and ensure to have better response time with an objective to enhance business satisfaction.
Build strong interlocks with client facing and resolution teams to ensure reactive complaints are addressed at a faster pace.
Meet all the NOC metrics and process governance ensuring complete focus on operational KPI’s.
Contribute to new innovations to automate any manual task and create more optimization in daily operations.
Figure out and lead Continual Improvement initiatives.
Current team operates 3 days/ week from office (Gurugram COE) What you will need.
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or Engineering (or equivalent).
Any Graduate/Preferred Engineering Graduate 8+ years’ experience working in24X7 operation and Application support with 3-4 years of people management experience.
Fluent in English (written and spoken) a confident to talk to leadership team.
Good knowledge on enterprise monitoring tools such as Catchpoint, Datadog, Dynatrace, SolarWinds and Splunk.
Experience of supporting and troubleshooting large-scale enterprise IT systems covering application, OS (Operating System), and infrastructure layer.
Working experience in Linux and Windows based production environments and strong knowledge in fundamentals and internals - file systems, memory management, and processes etc.
Knowledge of public cloud architecture & administration (ideally AWS) Working experience on routers and switches and understanding of basic network concepts.
Experience in managing critical outages, Post incident reviews and leading Problem review board.
Demonstrate strong team spirit, a positive attitude, and a willingness to help and learn new things.
Efficient problem-solving skills, mediation and stakeholder relationship building skills.
The positions require a flexible, proactive approach along with a highly organized attitude.
ITIL foundation certified.
Good to have CCNA/AWS/RHCE Certification.  Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
